EXCITING NEWS ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Given the success of the move to a new 3-day event in 2023, this format will be retained in 2024.
Reflecting the new 3-day format, the tournament will be re-named as BARRENJOEY WOMEN’S CLASSIC with a new logo and banner.
The current website and name will remain in place until the conclusion of the 2024 event when the new website and name will be launched.
However, users of social media will be able to see a preview of the new look on Facebook & Instagram this year.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
ENTRIES OPEN ON MONDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2023
AND CLOSE ON SUNDAY 28 JANUARY 2024
This is one of the largest amateur women’s golfing tournaments in the Southern Hemisphere. The tournament is also a Jean Derrin Event. All women with a current Australian or Overseas Golf Handicap can participate.
Barrenjoey Week of Golf opens on Monday 12th February 2024 with the 18 hole Individual Competition (Stroke for Divisions 1 & 2 and Stableford for Division 3). This is followed on Tuesday 13th with the Foursomes Competition. The tournament closes on Thursday 15th February with a 4-Person Team Event (18 hole Better Ball with 2 scores to count). In addition to the golfing experience, the BWOG Committee organises a major raffle with prizes being donated by golf clubs and businesses in local and regional areas. The funds raised through the raffle are donated to Women & Children First.
